On Tues 11th November, Energize (the County Sports and Physical Activity Partnership for Shropshire Telford & Wrekin), are putting on a half day seminar at Whitehouse Hotel (AFC Telford, Bucks Head).
As well as expertise and support from the Energize Team they will have workshops from industry experts offering you hands on practical tips to develop your project and make it attractive to funding agencies.
Shropshire’s Director of Public Health Prof Rod Thompson will open the event with his thoughts on the value of open spaces to the health of communities and the morning will be closed by Sarah Royal from Birmingham Open Space Forum who will share practice and experience in making open spaces attractive and inclusive for the whole community.
A buffet lunch and networking opportunity will conclude the event with a range of marketplace exhibitors on hand to provide even more support and advice for your local project.
