Examination of the Telford & Wrekin Local Plan

Consultation on Proposed Main Modifications

31 July 2017 to 5pm 22 September 2017

The Inspector for the Telford and Wrekin Local Plan examination is inviting comment on the Schedule of Proposed Main Modifications to the Telford & Wrekin Local Plan 2011-2031 Publication Version (January 2016).  An Integrated Appraisal Addendum Report and a Policies Map Addendum accompanies the modifications proposed. The Main Modifications are proposed by the Inspector of the Local Plan, and not the Council.

What is the Telford & Wrekin Local Plan?

The Local Plan sets out the land use policies and proposals for the borough up to 2031. The Plan identifies the preferred locations for new housing and employment and how community green space will be protected. It will be the starting point for the determination of all planning applications.
